Meet our Executive Assistant Anjo!
Angela Burns (we call her Anjo) came to work with us in 2012. She started at Second Helpings, but after a couple years we realized she had a real talent with computers, technology and other office type equipment that constantly needed fixing! She moved over to the Food Bank side to be our on-site I.T. gal and we absolutely adore her! Her father volunteers at the Columbia Falls Food Bank, so I guess you could say it runs in the family. She is local all the way, born in Kalispell, and growing up in Columbia Falls, and now raising her three kids here. When you ask her what her favorite thing is she hands-down replies “I LOVE SUSHI!”
Anjo loves working at Flathead Food Bank, spending time with her family, fixing computers and Lori’s phone, skiing, camping, fishing, music, animals, and crocheting incredibly beautiful gifts for her friends. “There is so much love and time put into handmade gifts, I don’t think any other gift can say so much!”. Watching her create, we can’t agree more!
Sometimes life throws you curveballs and Anjo has seen her share. She is happy to have such a positive workplace with such wonderful co-workers to escape to. She says that Flathead Food Bank is her happy place. She says “no matter what is going on in my personal life, when I come to work it’s impossible to worry when I have so much positivity around me.”
